About OM

Operation Mobilisation is an international inter-denominational missionary organisation with over 6,000 workers in more than 110 countries. One of the  most well known ministries is the Ship Ministry: there have been various ships over the years - the current one being the Logos Hope. There are four OM bases in the UK, which are briefly as follows:

  • OMUK - the main UK base at "The Quinta" near Oswestry in Shropshire. This is the UK headquarters, from where British missionaries are sent out. Read more at: www.uk.om.org
  • OM International - International Coordinating Team (ICT). Based in Carlisle. See www.om.org
  • Life Hope - based in Halesowen in the Midlands, OM Lifehope was set up by missionaries returning from India. More at www.lifehope.om.org
  • Turning Point is based in London. No specific website, but information is available here

There is so much information on the OM websites, that we suggest you explore that way.

In Brazil, the main office and training base are co-located at São José dos Campos, where we work. You can read more at the OM Brasil website (in Portuguese and English)
